Working for Green View
Responsibilities
Duties involve keeping the buildings clean, safe and attractive:
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms
- Emptying trash inside and outside of the building
- Refilling supplies
- Running lawnmower and performing landscape care
- Using a snow blower and shovel to clear walkways
- Putting up and taking down flags
Job Requirements
- Age 55 or older
- Able to work independently
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy contact with the public
- Physical ability to accomplish all tasks
- Valid Drivers' License
- Able to pass a background check

Positions We Offer
Regular
Part-time employees work approximately 21-28 hours per week. Shifts last 7-9 hours and include days and nights.
Alternate
Alternates fill in for regular staff members when they’re sick or on vacation. A great way to get your foot in the door!
Crew Leader
Crew leaders have additional responsibilities for scheduling employees and overall site management.

About Green View
Green View Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Roseville, Minnesota that employs workers in custodial positions at Minnesota rest areas, state parks and several other locations. Green View was established in 1969 by the Minnesota Farmers Union to provide part-time employment for seniors, including retired farmers, to supplement their income. The majority of our 600+ employees are over 55 years of age, with many workers in their 60’s and 70’s. Our average employee age is 72.3.
